Hi Rick!

I'm sticking with G right now. I actually only recently put my little B network into the dumpster. The biggest problem in my mind is that technically there is no "N" standard yet. From what I understand it's a *proposed* standard. What that typically means in a real world situation is that equipment from different vendors will not necessarily work together.

Of course, equipment from different vendors doesn't always work together anyway, but I've got an older G card from Netgear in my laptop and then whatever is in my EEE PC (it's made for ultra-portables) and a Belkin router and something else (Dlink, maybe) in the PC downstairs, and they all work together flawlessly. Will N equipment work as well? I don't know. And if you get it all from the same vendor, it will probably work fine. But that was the only thing that kept me from going to the N equipment.
