As to logs - what logs? I see no mention of them in the toolbar or elsewhere. The only thing in the messages window simply says that it timed out waiting for a connection.

So the reply package did not come back, and this does not look like a firewall issue. I would suggest you take a look at the TCP/IP setup - it could be a bad netmask somewhere.

An excellent tool is traceroute which tells you where packets go. I believe I've been told it is also on AS/400.
