Um, not sure I follow... you want a "network database" that's betterI'm not a fan of hosting data not created by a PC-based program on the 400. That's what PC's and servers do much better/quicker.
than the iSeries you have? :) Seriously, couldn't you use the iSeries?
If not (for some reason) why not SQLServer?
