Um, sorry, dumb question, but what is a popcaploader?

popcaploader is required for some reason to play some Yahoo games (the wife)
and big trouble if I block it (lol)

an small update...I reviewed this thread. I have tried almost all the
good ones now.
My vote is for Kaspersky...this is what I was looking for - complete
control without exceptions.
