Well, mine's been running 24x7 fine now since 1/1....I'll let you know in 6 months. And Dennis travels with his about every week and so far TSA hasn't bitched..I think he has to disconnect it and run it through in a seperate tray... I'm off on a plane next weekend...I'll let you know how much the nonthinkers give me in terms of grief...I can imagine how much they're freak if I took some insects on the plane with me that were pinned and mounted.... :) :)

if the connectors come lose or wear out, I'd say a call to APC should get a replacement...but I plug mine in and just leave it all plugged in...and it's been really nice not to have my T40 die in the middle of a meeting....:)

We've had three of those Don but had problems with the connectors coming
loose and (more importantly) the dang things dying within days of the
warranty expiration!

The other problem in these days of additional airport restrictions is that
it is one more piece of weight and bulk to add to the hand luggage.  Not to
mention that stuff like that gives TSA screeners fits!
