I got a Hauppauge MediaMVP for the holidays


If you aren't already, consider using Sage TV with it.  From what I hear on
the Sage forums, the wireless MVP isn't very good but works well in wired
mode to a wireless gaming adapter like you are setting up.  That isn't a
Sage issue; just a feature of the wMVP.  It sounds like you got the wired
only MVP, which is what it sounds like people recommend anyway.
