Funny you should mention this.  The HD in my 3-year old Dell laptop here at
work just bit the dust last month.  Management, elected to buy me an
entirely new laptop instead of just replace the HD (and I didn't even offer
any input for that decision).  Go figure, but I'm not complaining.  <g>
