Don't bother ... they wouldn't make a mistake like that. My Series2 Tivo doesn't cause any problems of this nature.
I had actually thought of using a Samba server to try to fix the problem - guess that's not a good idea <grin>
I'm guessing that it has something to do with a master browser problem ... but I'm not sure what would cause it. Can the individual PC's see themselves? Can you take the W2K machine out of the mix and put another XP in, just to see if that's causing a problem? david
