Just bought a Dell 1600n and so far, it has been great (but only about 2
weeks old). Price was only $339, prints monochrome laser at 20ppm, copies,
faxes and even does color scans and has a sheet feeder for coping/faxing.

I think with a 3 year service contract it was about $500 or so.
