Ok, this is kind of interesting.

I was looking at the syslog messages on my linux system, I saw this
message: Clock: inserting leap second 23:59:60 UTC.

I knew there was a leap second this year ... but I was kind of amazed
that my Redhat 7.3 system would know about it.
