No experience with Tbird just yet, hopefully will set up next week on
Christmas break.

Outlook Express, in my wholly unbiased opinion, was a total POS last time I
used it, admittedly a few years ago.  How this ever got foisted on the
general public, I'll never know.  Oh wait, this is a Microsoft product we're
talking about.

Now, Outlook (the one that costs $), OTOH, is decent.  Filtering is
unreliable.  I don't think it does threading like gmail and, from what I've
heard, Tbird.  For me, the most attractive part of Outlook is the Calendar
function.

The only other local email client I've ever used was Lotus, but that was
eons ago.

So, what did you use prior to Tbird?
