oh. Have you asked the phone company for a second number, like they offer for fax and kids? One line, two numbers. --------------------------------- Booth Martin http://www.martinvt.com --------------------------------- -------Original Message------- From: PC Technical Discussion for iSeries Users Date: 11/21/05 16:21:45 To: PC Technical Discussion for iSeries Users Subject: Re: [PCTECH] Recomendation needed: Voicemail provider Reinardy, James wrote: > I don't know if this is an option for you, but I use Vonage with my > broadband connection to provide all of the voice mail features you are > looking for, plus the regular phone line including all of the bells and > whistles for $15 a month with 500 minutes of outgoing calls. Yeah, I'm using vonage too ... but I have it tied to my home phone and I really don't want to be called when people call this number. I found eVoice ... they have a free month trial and $5/mo after that. They also do eFax, which I used to use for free a while ago, so I think they're ok. We'll give it a shot and see. FWIW: I just want a private number I can attach to my whois records. I don't want my home or vonage number attached to that. david -- This is the PC Technical Discussion for iSeries Users (PcTech) mailing list To post a message email: PcTech@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/pctech or email: PcTech-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/pctech. .
