David,

You must still be playing with OpenPGP because you signed the
message. And I must be using PGP because when I opened the message it
automatically verified the signature (well, ok, it told be it was a
valid signature from an unknown key)

I've not used OpenPGP so I can't speak for it's interface, but I use
PGP and we've deployed it for clients and it's seamless, at least
from w/in outlook. What have you found to be too much trouble
w/OpenPGP?

Folks:

Does anyone use any of the mail encryption / security systems
available?
~ Like S/MIME, OpenPGP, etc?

I've played around with OpenPGP on occasion, but it always ended up
being more trouble than it's worth.

S/Mime has always been a non-starter for me, because you have to pay
for
the certificate.

Just looking for opinions and thoughts here.

david
