I use a VPN connection over my broadband connection to an iSeries and it works splendidly. It treats the VPN connection as a local connection (192 168.n.n) and allows all my other traffic through just fine. I have noticed that when the vpn kicks me, it kicks my msn messenger connection, too. --------------------------------- Booth Martin http://www.martinvt.com --------------------------------- -------Original Message------- From: PC Technical Discussion for iSeries Users Date: 11/23/04 11:29:53 To: PC Technical Discussion for iSeries Users Subject: Re: [PCTECH] VPN Set-Up (Cisco) Hello Scott, I don't think you can - I'm not able to do it. My 'shop' has a LAN with PC's, AS/400, a PrintServer, a switch and a router to the Internet. When I connect to a customer using Cisco VPN Client from a PC, this PC can't be used for other things than the VPN connection. No browsing, no printing, no sending E-mail's - the PC is 'closed' for using the LAN. But I would like to be able to.... as you too :-) Best regards, Leif ----- Original Message ----- From: "Scott Johnson" <sjohnson@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <PcTech@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: 23. november 2004 18:07 Subject: [PCTECH] VPN Set-Up (Cisco) > > We are using Cisco VPN Client to get access to company's network from home > Right now when I connect up I can only access the company's network.
