Amen. I have never had to jump through hoops like this on Toshiba, IBM,
Compaq or HP...

For my home systems I never buy systems already put together anymore. I build my own, from quality components, and install Linux. No problems.

I'll one up you on that. We acquitted a company two years ago that was using
CLONES... These things have started dropping like flies lately (Power
Supplies and hard drives). The company they got them from is history. And in
"cleaning up" the pitched every stinkin' CD they had for all of these PC's !

If they were that bad, why did you "acquit" them? You should have found them guilty! <G> (A little Freudian slip there??? <G>)
