I am absolutely blown away with what Knoppix can do !

I downloaded it and burned it so a CD. I have a hard drive I have had laying
around HOPING some day I could get some stuff off of it. It was NT 4.0 with
multiple partitions. 

Stuck that back into a PC, booted with Knoppix and I can see EVERYTHING on
that PC.

WOW !

OK - I give up.  I know I'm not Linux literate, but how the heck are you
supposed to download and burn this thing to CD?

No matter whether I choose FTP or HTTP - I simply get a great long list of
files and folders.

I'm used to download links offering to save the file etc. for me.  That's
what Ultimate CD did for me ....

What am I missing folks?
