I honestly have no idea. I came to work one day and had new icons on my desktop. After asking if some sort of update was pushed out, I proceeded with virus and spyware scanning. After some time it was discoved I had CoolWebSearch installed and was pointed to this tool. It clean that stupid spyware immediately and haven't had problems since.
