Dan, This may be stupid but did you try unplugging your mouse or checking for stuck keys on your keyboard? May be it is a "simple" problem? I know my teenage tends to go through both keyboards and mice, pretty regularly. -Bryon -----Original Message----- From: pctech-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:pctech-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Dan Bale Sent: Friday, September 17, 2004 10:24 AM To: PC Technical Discussion for iSeries Users Subject: RE: [PCTECH] Constant windows pointer switching between arrow &hourglass > -----Original Message----- > From: pctech-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx / Winchester Terry > Sent: Friday, September 17, 2004 10:17 AM > > Have you tried AdAware and SpyBot? I'll have to download that one tonight. No, there are no special toolbars loaded. This happens with either browser (IE & Mozilla). Actually the pointer switching behavior occurs in all applications, not just the browsers. It's annoying all around, but it's especially a killer when trying to type a URL. I have to open notepad to type the URL and then copy/paste that to the address window. db -- This is the PC Technical Discussion for iSeries Users (PcTech) mailing list To post a message email: PcTech@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/pctech or email: PcTech-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/pctech.
