The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

I run Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird, Spybot S&D, AVG 7.0 Pro, don't open spam,
and don't click on questionable sites/buttons. I don't worry too much about
stuff being sent from my PC. Every once in a great while I will check the
incoming/outgoing stats on the Linksys router just to see what is there, but I
don't worry about it too much. If something bad is really determined to send
from your pc, a sw OR hw firewall is not going to help. I would rather enjoy my
surfing experience instead of worrying myself sick about getting something....
My 2 cents.

The major reason for having a S/W FW is to have control over which programs
or processes are allowed to send data from the PC.
