User error!!! Who are you calling a user :-) Afraid installing OpenOffice on laptop 2 is not an option. I am sure it is a configuration issue, I just have no idea where to look. I created a new presentation and included the image (just to test). There is no error messages or such. The picture goes black and the audio plays fine. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Booth Martin" <booth@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <pctech@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, July 27, 2004 12:28 AM Subject: Re: [PCTECH] Video in Powerpoint Does the slideshow image refer to a location/link that is not valid on laptop 2? On laptop 1, I have included a video in a powerpoint presentation and it play perfectly in a slide show. I copy the presentation to laptop 2. When I run the slideshow, the audio plays but the video is just black. (there is a "still" of the video showing before I play it). Any suggestions? TIA Paul Tuohy
