>A friend of mine wants to start exploring the >website-creation experience by using MS Frontpage. OK, I'm the resident MS-lover and let me be the first to say: FrontPAge $ucks. In fairness I've heard decent things about the newest (Office 2003) version, but I think your friend would be better served with another tool. I use a combination of HomeSite (Macromedia) and VisualStudio.NET. Macromedia's Studio MX also get's rave reviews. However, what does your friend want to learn? If he has _no_ HTML experience something like notepad and a xxx for dummies book might be the best thing for him. Trying to learn web development/HTML by using any of the designer tools is like trying to learn RPG by using Lansa or Synon. Remind him too, Word outputs HTML is he's looking to create a simple web page. -Walden ------------ Walden H Leverich III President & CEO Tech Software (516) 627-3800 x11 WaldenL@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.TechSoftInc.com Quiquid latine dictum sit altum viditur.
