RE: Windows Explorer: Any print option available?

Another option I was thinking about was to see if there was a Microsoft
Power Toy to handle this.  I don't recall the version of Windows he was
running but there is a Windows 2000 Power Toy called Find X.

It's supposed to add drag-and-drop capibilities to the Find Menu.  I
suppose that printing might be an option but I haven't tried it out.

Funny you should mention that Dave !

I started playing around with that earlier today because of this post but
again, as you note, it has been so long, I couldn't really remember how I
used to use it. Funny isn't it ? You had to be SO good at that stuff,
memory
"tweaking" etc. and for the most part it doesn't matter anymore :-)

Some of the posts got me thinking back to the good old DOS days.  Could you
go to a DOS prompt and use the FIND command and redirect the output to
another file?  It appears to be used for finding text within files.  I
can't say that I've ever tried to use it but I would think that you could
do something like:

find "text" > \results.txt

If there was no text within the files to search for you might be able to
just not put anything between the quotes.
Just a thought...
