I would say it would have to be from a wireless connection.   I highly doubt
the DHCP server is broadcasting onto the public side of your internet
connection.  It should only be broadcasting internally.  Plus, I do not see
how a computer on the public side of your router would benefit from your
internal ip address.  Routing wouldn't work.

I would almost be sure it is coming from the wireless network.  As other
people said, pinging doesn't mean anything.  For prevention, go with the
policies that the previous people mentioned.
