I don't know about you Buck... But I think that is a valid excuse! :-)

I have my own site going, however I can't do email without spending money
(port 25 is blocked) and I don't feel like spending 30 or 40 bucks just to
get my email at home. Oh well...

You asked <G>, so ... I'm a techno-geek who has been busy building and
setting up my own in-house (well, in-apartment if you want to be picky)
server to host my website and email.  The website went on-line
two-and-a-half weeks ago; the email this past weekend.

The server is running GNU/Linux Red Hat 9 like my firewall/router.  Apache
2 for the website.  Postfix for the email.
