Windows XP Professional and Service Packs Required

Hi list.  I am about to do a good backup of my data, format my harddrive and
install my new MS Win/XP Professional (full version).  I currently have Win/2000
SP3.  My question is, which service pack will be the one recommended by you that
I can apply to it?  I do now want to have the Win/2000  SP4 experience again...

Advices are greatly appreciated.
