Gateway has their Profile series where most of the guts are in the LCD and thus uses standard keyboard and mouse. The second most replaced component that I have seen is the keyboard (mouse first). Do you really want to lose a PC while you tear it down and replace the keyboard?

We have a couple of office users we want to give PCs to, and space is a
factor. I've seen pictures of PC's where the whole thing (save the screen)
is in the keyboard. Asus has a series that look like notebooks but are
really 'portable desktops' that take PCMCIA cards, etc. I'm looking for
fully functional PC's with a DVD/CD combo, network, probably an LCD for
space, etc. Have any of you tried any of these or similar animals?

Thanks.
