Recently my HDD on my T30 went recently when I was abroad. I only had with me a backup of my data, not my software, so that it took me too long to recover after I had received my new HDD from IBM. I decided to purchase a second, physically identical drive and HDD adaptor for the Ultrabay. This came with EZ-GIG software that did not work under XP so was no use. My supplier included a copy of Rapid Restore Ultra but this only allows back up to a recovery partition on the primary drive or to a USB drive, so I am stuck.

My aim is to have automatic copying of absolutely everything on my primary drive, including boot sector, etc., to the secondary so that if the primary goes, I can boot immedtiately from the secondary drive. Has anyone done this and if so how?

Many thanks

Rob Dixon
