When my Thinkpad hard drive went recently when on holiday in France, to
save time, I purchased a copy of XP Pro from a local shop as IBM
could'nt get me English language reccovery CD'S as quickly as they could
ship a new hard drive. I wanted to upgrade another machine to XP Pro
when I got home so it would not be a waste of money.
When I installed it on the new drive, even though I requested UK english
for every option, XP Pro insisted in sticking to French except for
keyboard layout and time zone. If a window says, in English, "Do you
want to ..." the boxes below have the options "Oui" and "Non", rather
than "Yes" and "No".
I feel sure that it must be possible to change this, but does anyone
know how? Whilst I can cope with the French, I would prefer English.
many thanks
Rob Dixon
