[PcTech] Thinkpad character set problem

This list is an excellent idea.

My first question

I use a Thinkpad T30 with UK keyboard, running XP professional.

The key to the left of the numbers row, to the left of the figure 1, has 
a solid vertical bar as its lowest character, and this is used in 
conjunction with the AltGr key to the R of the spacebar.  The only 
trouble is that it displays not as a solid bar but as a broken bar, the 
same character as is above the backslash.

Any ideas?
