I'd be interested in knowing why people want this. There was a commercial X-server available a while back and I think sales were pretty much non-existent. I think it was built by the same guys who originally developed the prototype version that ran on IBM i that Rochester decided against bringing to market.

Looks like you installed PTF for OPS and you're trying to run Python3 via Yum version which is newer.

I could see that causing some system confusion possibly.

No, I did not remove 5733OPS and applied SI69338.

but when I run /QOpenSys/pkgs/bin/yum from QSH, I get the following
error:
Process terminated with signal 5as400

Execution error from qp2term An error will occur if an error occurs.
Illegal instruction (core dump)
