Hi Kevin,

When I get a chance I'll compile my notes and send them to you.

Wasn't really much special.

2 things mainly:
-There were a few IFS file permission issues had to tweak for read/write access to Postgres folders

-Had to start the server for the first time as IBM i user POSTGRES (which I had to create) so that the root "postgres" user could connect to the database.

After that it was pretty much the regular Postgres nuances for allowing internal localhost or external access.

Haven't done any speed testing yet, but very nice.

Is Maria on your list as well ?

Richard Schoen

Hey Richard, it's on our TODO list to create a getting started guide for
Postgres over at [1]https://github.com/IBM/ibmi-oss-examples
?
If you want to help out with what you found, it would be much appreciated.
