I can look at your questions next week when I get back from Milan - but it probably hasn't escaped your attention that the open source version of Renaissance (version 5) is no longer used by CoralTree. The open source product is still there for people to download and do what they want with and it is down to you to work things out. Having said that we will attempt to address forum questions on a best endeavours basis.

We use Renaissance 6 now, which is a completely new animal and not open source.

This is probably not the best place for help.

I think the jqGrid part is OK, it is just the way that Renaissance interacts with it that is wonkey. For example I can't set the height of the grid by sending height:600, Renaissance somewhere intercepts that, or overrides it so that doesn't work. I also can't determine how to make the scroll bar work, though that is probably due to the forced paging. If I could get the grid to render with a predetermined height, the scroll bars would probably appear.

I can't help with Renaissance but I am familiar with jqGrid (I use it
in quite a few places). I'll take a crack at whatever your issues are
on the jqGrid side....

I am using the Renaissance Framework, and having a difficult time with jqGrid. My issues are centered around the lack of knowledge about how things flow since it uses Ajax to load the grid. Does anyone here have a good enough knowledge of Renaissance and the jqGrid specifically to help me with the flow of requests and responses through the system?
