Our group was told that an IBM liaison would be assigned out of an office in Dallas. When I asked if she would have budget money to travel to San Antonio for occasional meetings, I was told by IBM they would have to get back to me with an answer. That was 4 years ago.

Larry,
I apologize for missing this last week. The Austin to San Antonio corridor
is without any user group at all. We tried to get one started up 4 years
ago, but getting any cooperation from IBM proved to be an exercise in
futility.

Larry -
I am not an officer, only a member, of the Metro Midrange Systems
Association (MMSA) in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. MMSA is the only user
group in the North Texas area. The D/FW Midrange Professionals user group
(of which I was once president) merged with the MMSA back in the 90's.
Here is the URL for the MMSA:

You can contact the MMSA president (Robert Arce) at (817) 360-5616 for more
information.

Steve
