The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
I want to thank all of you who have commented on this topic.
The main point I am trying to get across is that an open-source BOT (written
in Java) is now available.
You and I could adapt it to our needs and the BOT would run all day
24/7, updating any wiki, wikipedia or the wiki.midrange.com, automatically,
with new content that exists on public sources (IBM's V5R4 documentation web
site, etc.
or from infoworld, computerworld, or from itjungle or from systeminetwork,
The BOT could feed new content to the wiki, thus eliminating much tedious,
manual work on your part.
I despair at the magnitude of the task of editing wikis manually.
