From what I have seen and heard, IBM does not do financed
sponsorships except IBM Research; i.e. one would have to pay their own
way -- not to imply that the hiring would not transpire, just that IBM
does not really have a "legal team who initiate process for visa filing"
like that mentioned on the MS-related blog. And what really would be
the point, since if IBM [as a global company with offices in India]
wants workers from India, they just hire them there.? What they pay
relative to here, does not break nor require research into, what rules
might apply for hiring done under visa sponsorships.
