Steve, Well, it's 'different' I suppose, but who is stupid? us or the rest of the country? exactly what does daylight savings time do for you personally? I, for one am glad we don't have to switch our clocks twice a year. it never made any sense to me in the first place. It's been a hot button issue here for a couple years, but about a each third of the state takes one of 3 positions (in order of my personal preference): 1. leave it alone (sun sets at 5:30pm in the winter and around 9pm in the summer) 2. go to Eastern DST (sun sets at 5:30pm in the winter and around 10pm in the summer) 3. go to Central DST (sun sets at 4:30pm in the winter and around 9pm in the summer) So, if it ever does change, they'll probably go to '3' and all winter long, I'll have to drive to work in the dark and drive home in the dark. how depressing. Rick -------original message---------------- I alway heard it was called "Indiana Stupid Time", since Indiana doesn't observe daylight savings time... Steve
