I named a brand new 170 "Invader" shortly after I heard Dr. Frank tell an
audience at a COMMON conference that this was the code name for that model
prior to its announcement. He thought it would be a really cool name for a
new computer, but the marketing folks quashed the use of that name.
Apparently, they felt that "AS/400 eServer Model 170" would play better in
Europe than "Invader".   :-))
