OTOH, Spamcop (and every other resource and blacklist I'm aware of) does not list servers that only send out mailing lists where true confirmation of subscriptions is done, because they cannot, by definition, be used for spamming. As for the threatened lawsuit, I'll believe it when I see it. People threaten to sue blocklists all the time, but only a tiny handful of suits actually happen, and all but one have resulted in utter defeat for the spammers filing the suit. (The one exception was a large corporation that got MAPS to cave in instead of standing its ground, and effectively destroyed MAPS as an anti-spam tool - but this didn't stop blocklists; rather, it caused even more to spring up, and is widely viewed as instrumental in convincing SPEWS to not be contactable.)
