I have been reading up on Linux and started playing around with it. I was wondering if anyone had considered or even tried, running Linux and then using Samba to handle Windows workstations/files as a server in place of Windows NT or 2000 Server ? Could save a TON of money. I know that many folks have already made the investment in Windows Server (or Novell) so that might be a tough sell, but in our case, NO server other than the AS/400 (well and out Cobalt Qube 2 Linux based email server), would it be a reasonable choice (?) Thanks ! Chuck
