I wonder if one can load Netscape Messenger only to handle email and use Internet Explorer for the web? Naah, bet it won't work.> I went through that too Jeff. Got tired of Messenger wiping my Inbox (but of course then I remembered you could just delete the *.SNM files and restarting Netscape rebuilds the indexes and the message reappear...). I would have NOTHING to do with Outlook. Deleted it. And then remembered that Outlook uses Express for a newsreader... Also got tired of Netscape crashing with and I had repeatedly done everything recommended on their news list. I wasn't having NEAR the problems that others were... I have 192MB of memory, running NT. But sometimes it would just stop responding and do nothing until I killed it. Other times it would just "end". This was with various revs of 4.7x and I tried 6 but it was missing WAY to much... Don't think it has caught up much either... Too bad... You can definitely use Messenger for mail and IE for internet... I have put every patch available to Outlook and IE and set security settings, etc. I don't use Preview Pains in Outlook. Have decent antivirus software, etc. Still a little nervous until I get as used to the ins and outs of Outlook and IE as I was with Netscape I will stay that way ! But man, I like the calendaring and task stuff in Outlook ! Chuck
