Chuck,

We aren't allowed newsreader or newserver at work, but
if go into outlook's help and type in newsreader you will
find help on it. It's found under View, Go To, News.

Thanks Rebecca,

That sounds like a very handy utility ! I'm at their website now to get it
:-)

Oh, and as for other questions :-) what are you for a newsreader (or
newserver) ?

Thanks,

Chuck

Chuck,

There's a backup utility for outlook called PFBACKUP.EXE.
You can find it on the microsoft web site or I can e-mail
it to you, it's only 184k. After you run it, it puts a
backup option under the File pull-down menu. It saves everything in your
.PST file to another file. I backup mine up once a week, but I know others
who do it more often. Also, outlook can do archiving which is a really cool
way to keep your
inbox, sent items, etc cleaned up. Archiving moves old
messages to an archive.pst file. My archive files is 390K,
but my main pst file is only 52K.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Rebecca Snyder
