I see what you're saying, and agree completely.  I'm talking about posting
to the lists, but if it requires clarification that people can't get across
in English, they COULD continue the exchange off-list.

Again, I agree with the sharing of knowledge...  I'm just saying it's a good
thing the community of list-members is international, but not everyone
"speaks" (writes) clearly in English.  So thought a mostly-English post
could benefit from foreign-language clarification.

Maybe the poster can just suggest an alternate language, for off-list
follow-ups.  Hopefully the original posters would reply back (in English) of
the final resolution of the issue.  (But then.. that doesn't always happen
with English-language posts, either.)
