Find a copy of "Inside the AS/400" by Dr. Frank Soltis, the "father" of the
AS/400.  The Amazon link is at:

Or "Fortress Rochester: The Inside Story of the IBM iSeries", which is even
newer.  I haven't read this one, so can't tell you if it covers some of the same
stuff which keeps us AS/400 choir members singing its praises...
