Could Excite@home's shutdown of _part_ of their network have caused a
problem accessing my iseries email from home?

I have broadband access at home via Comcast Cable. Comcast (along with
Cox Cable, other cable companies, and AT&T) use the Excite@home network
that went bankrupt. Last Friday, a judge ruled that Excite could shut
down the network, which they did, but only for AT&T for reasons I won't
go into because they're not germaine to my question.

However, I could not access my email on my iseries at work from home all
weekend. Eveything else on the internet access seems normal. I was
concerned of a big problem when I got to work this morning, but
everything is just fine. I'm not sure _what_ is going on.
