David,
Did the “Host Code Page” (CCSID) in you ACS configuration
for your PUB400 connection change? If your password contains certain special
characters and the Host Code Page changed since you last set your password, you
may unknowingly be entering the incorrect password. The System default CCSID for PUB400 is
273.
I don’t think the CCSID really matters (when singing in)
as long as it matches the CCSID that was used to set your password.
I'm using 1.1.9.11 and can log in to PUB400 without any
issue.

Folks:

I’ve got a weird problem … I’m trying to log in to pub400 using iAcs, but get an invalid user id or password error every time.

If I telnet into pub400.com<http://pub400.com> <http://pub400.com/> I can log in fine.

I’m using Eclipse Adoptium Java 25.0<http://25.0>.2 on my Silicon Macbook Pro with MacOS 26.4<http://26.4>.

Any ideas on what might be going wrong with iACS?

Thanks!

David
