There are SMTP services that you can subscribe to now that the providers no longer have the services avail.

You don't need a special product. Just need to set up for the right service and go through all the setup and authorization motions.

Or figure out how to use Twilio, SendGrid, etc......

We use SNDSMTPEMM to send out emails and texts from our customers to
ourselves.

When we send to our normal email address, works great (presuming the
appropriate set up)

When we send it to Verizon text handling (2225556123@xxxxxxxxx for
example) Verizon is supposed to forward that message to the phone
number listed as a text message. From my email it works great. From
IBM i the texts do not come through. Adding ?1? to the front of the
email does not seem to help.

Thoughts?
