Keep in mind that there was a period in which IBM labeled everything
Tivoli. For example, on IBM i, Tivoli is part of the long name for it's
LDAP server.
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/i/7.6.0?topic=ssw_ibm_i_76/rzahg/rzahg2aahy.html

Or perhaps you meant Tivoli Storage Manager. It's went through some name
changes since. IBM Spectrum Protect, IBM Storage Protect. I'm wondering
if this is what you meant. At one time you could back up IBM i, with TSM.
Purists in the IBM i world cringe at that thought. But the one ring to
rule them all people for backing up everything with one product opposed
that. It's no longer an option. You won't find TSM mentioned after 7.2
like in the list at
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/i/7.2.0?topic=brms-advanced-topics-in

Another related Tivoli. IBM Tivoli Identity Manager or ITIM. Which became
IBM Security Identity Manager or ISIM. And I think it's name is now IBM
Security Verify Governance. It's a product we use to onboard people in
Windows, IBM i, Notes/Domino, etc.

IBM tends to push such strategic products, like Domino. For example the
http stuff in IBM i is called 5770-DG1 for Domino Go.

Hello:
Does anyone know anyone that is an expert in Tivoli that can spare a few
hours to review an environment. It is in tact but not sure if it is as
needed and need help from someone in the know.
Happy Holidays.Regards,Laura
