No longer the case...it changed at v5r1..

We have direct experience with that, which is why QuestView comes in a V4-compatible version (observability yanked on the V4 development box) and a version compatible with V6 and later (re-encapsulated on our V5 box using an ingenious REXX script that was a gift from one of the top gurus on this List, with observability yanked there).

Three decades ago, QuestView wasn't compatible with Sec40, because it used a number of undocumented hacks that were blocked at Sec40. I made it my business to exorcise those hacks, and replace them with calls to documented APIs. Which is why complaints about the application are extremely rare, and almost always involve really funky files.
