Hello Richard,

Generally I try not to do things with ODBC that would trigger inquiry messages.

How do you shorten or drop fields? How do you drop tables or complete schemas (libraries) with journaling being active and unsaved receivers?

Some developers are unaware about the intricacies of IBM i or just unwilling to do what appears to them unnecessarily cumbersome: Use strsql in a 5250 session. Not sure how iACS handles such cases.

If you know what messages you might be getting you could add them to the system reply list for auto-reply.

Sounds like a long chain of "found yet another message".

I’ve done that a few times, but reply lists should not be overused.

I fully agree.
