According to MS it can be turned off

Also if you bring up settings, and type "sugge" some of the options are
to do with code suggestions and when to accept them (key combo seems to
be tab=suggest then enter=accept suggestions) but at a quick glance
(its a long list of partial matches) doesn't seem to have anything
related to changing the key-combo.
